SprutCAM Robot is een tool voor het snel berekenen van complexe botsingvrije 3D-bewegingen van de robotarm.

SprutCAM Robot maakt het mogelijk besturingsprogramma’s te ontwikkelen en te verbeteren in standalone modus, zonder de robot zelf te gebruiken voor dit doel.

SprutCAM Robot is een oplossing voor het efficiënt gebruik van Fanuc, Kuka, Staubli, Yaskawa Motoman, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Nachi en ABB robots. Gereedschapsbanen genereren

De gereedschapsbanen voor 3D frezen met de industriële robot worden gegenereerd door gebruik te maken van alle bewerkingsstrategieën die ook gebruikt worden voor het cnc frezen met traditionele cnc freesmachines. Wel wordt rekening gehouden met de specifieke robot kinematics

  • Roughing tool paths: parallel, equidistant, high-speed, adaptive roughing, roughing plane, roughing rotary machining, hole machining and many others
  • Finishing tool paths: finishing waterline, plane, scallop (3d constant step over), morph, rotary machining, 5 axis surfacing
  • Contouring tool paths: 2D, 3D & 5D contouring 

All tool paths are generated taking into account the specific robot kinematics. The robot’s additional sixth and other degrees of freedom can be optimized either automatically or manually to extend the reach zone, avoid collisions or improve machining conditions.

Simulatie

Tijdens het maken van een bewerkingsprogramma wordt ook de simulatie aangemaakt, zodat direct eventuele problemen gedetecteerd worden, zoals botsingen, kerving, overschrijding van de toegestane gebieden en singulariteit zowel tijdens het verspanen als tijdens het verplaatsen in ijlgang. Postprocessing

De ingebouwde postprocessor generator maakt het mogelijk om postprocessors te editen of nieuw te maken voor besturingssystemen van alle fabrikanten, ongeacht het aantal assen die bij het bewerken gebruikt worden.

Extra assen

Naast de assen van de robot zelf ondersteunt SprutCAM Robot nog drie extra assen XYZ, waarop de robot eventueel geplaatst wordt. Op deze manier kan het werkgebied van de robot enorm vergroot worden. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld toegepast worden als een robot producten moet bewerken in meerdere cellen, of voor het frezen van mallen voor boten in een hal.
